Itinerary:

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550 m)

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi by tourist bus. The drive takes about 7–8 hours and passes through beautiful hills, rivers, terraced farms, and small villages. Syabrubesi is the starting point of the Langtang Valley Trek. Overnight at lodge.

Day 2: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380 m)

After breakfast, the trek begins along the Langtang River through forests of bamboo and rhododendron. The trail gradually climbs through small settlements such as Bamboo and Rimche. You may see monkeys and different bird species along the way. Overnight at lodge in Lama Hotel.

Day 3: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430 m)

Today the trail continues through beautiful forest and gradually opens to wider valley views. You will see stunning mountain views and pass traditional Tamang villages. The trail crosses yak pastures and mani walls before reaching Langtang Village, a beautiful mountain settlement. Overnight at lodge.

Day 4: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)

This is a shorter trekking day but very scenic. The trail passes through yak pastures and small villages before reaching Kyanjin Gompa, the main destination of the trek. You can visit the famous Kyanjin Monastery and local cheese factory. Enjoy incredible views of surrounding Himalayan peaks. Overnight at lodge.

Day 5: Explore Kyanjin Gompa (Hike to Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri)

Today is an exploration day in the Langtang Valley. You can hike to Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayas including Langtang Lirung (7,227 m). After enjoying the views and photography, return to Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight at lodge.

Day 6: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

After breakfast, begin the return journey following the same beautiful trail down the valley. The descent is easier and offers another chance to enjoy the scenery and villages along the way. Overnight at lodge in Lama Hotel.

Day 7: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi

Today you continue trekking down through forest trails and small villages until you reach Syabrubesi, where the trek ends. Overnight at lodge.

Day 8: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. The journey takes about 7–8 hours. Upon arrival, the trek concludes with wonderful memories of the Langtang Valley.
